Using social media to increase sales

The results are in for our recent social media campaign for high street book store Borders and they’re very pleasing indeed.
The aim of the campaign was to build a presence for the brand across the social media spectrum by creating outreach and exposure through blog affiliates, brand advocacy and viral channels.
We managed to reach an audience of around 5m users, with over 50,000 money-off vouchers downloaded and an ROI of £5 for every £1 spent by the client. It was our first piece of work for Borders and, needless to say, everyone involved is delighted with the outcome.
